Abstract One central pillar in the development of urban science which is key to simulation models structure spatial econometrics. In this chapter, we outline way ideas pertaining accessibility define conventionally, as transport economics, relative nearness and size locations one another, can be embedded a wider econometric framework. We are thus able explore how GDP (gross domestic product) different influenced by investments. To illustrate this, first intellectual context, followed review most relevant models. examine data required for such look at various quantifications terms elasticities business productivity with respect accessibility, using ordinary least squares, time-series fixed effects, range dynamic panel-data narrow down valid estimates. then show model applied Guangdong province (with its connections Hong Kong Macau), three major mega-city regions leading adopter new technologies China.
